community stools
2009

A celebration of public space and sharing good food.
A family of stools and a small table made for the Fort Greene Farmers market. We travelled to the country to the farm of Ted King - who sells his meat and produce at the market - to collect materials. We turned the rough Red Cedar and old Farm Junk into furniture. Each Sunday from March through May, David and I would bring it to the market and sit and eat apples, drink milk, meet the neighborhood, and draw pictures with kids.
